چکیده
Abstract Background To identify the applicability of Chinese Version Mattis Dementia Rating Scale (DRS-CV). Methods The DRS-CV was administered to 483 participants, including 136 normal controls, 167 patients with mild cognition impairment (MCI), and 180 Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve used evaluate sensitivity specificity scale. Results scores were ranked in order NC > MCI AD moderate group. Memory sensitive function affected at a relatively earlier stage AD. ROC analysis indicated total score memory subscale showed excellent discrimination between from AD, but poor NC. Conclusion is useful early diagnosis severity not identification MCI.

Recent factor analyses of the Mattis Dementia Rating Scale (DRS; S. Mattis, 1973) have questioned the validity of its subscales, raising questions regarding their interpretation. This study examined the measurement structure of the standard DRS and of an abbreviated DRS form in a homogenous sample of 171 patients with Alzheimer's disease using (a) confirmatory factor analysis and (b) correlatio...
متن کاملSubscale Validity of the Mattis Rating Scale Dementia
The Mattis Dementia Rating Scale (DRS), a widely used dementia screening instrument, generates five subscale scores in the areas of Attention (ATT), Initiation-Perseveration (IP), Construction (CN).
